Conditions: seeing.jpg, bright Moon, phase 35° (90% illuminated), at 57° from the comet. Very strong gradient in the image, hard to correct for.  I did an average of the 40 sub with Astrometrica, to avoid saturation from a simple ‘add’, but the resulting image has a lower dynamics and the background correction with MaximDL (or IRIS) makes steps in the background. Ideally, the image should be treated as a matrix of float numbers rather than integers, this would have avoided these steps in the corrected image...
