Telescope de 193 OHP

Au cours du premier semestre 2005 (1 mars - 31 aout 2005) le télescope ne sera pas disponible aux visiteurs pendant environ CINQ semaines: 1 semaine en Mars (Pleine Lune), 1 semaine en Juin (Pleine Lune) et 3 semaines en fin-Juillet/debut-Aout.

Les deux premières périodes sont nécessaires pour des travaux préliminaires à la venue de SOPHIE. La dernière période est réservée pour l'installation du spectrographe et les premiers tests fonctionnels sur le ciel.

De plus, le spectrographe ELODIE ne sera pas disponible pour des observations pendant deux semaines en mars (Nouvelle Lune) et deux semaines en juin 2005 (Nouvelle Lune) à cause de travaux sur la bonnette Elodie. Le spectrographe CARELEC restera entièrement disponible aux visiteurs pendant ces périodes.

The telescope will not be available to observers for approximately FIVE WEEKS during the first semester of 2005 (1 March - 31 August): one week around the Full Moon in March, one week around the Full Moon in June and three weeks in late July/early August.
The first two periods are needed to prepare for the arrival of SOPHIE, the new high-resolution échelle spectrograph, and the third is reserved for the installation of the spectrograph itself and the first technical runs on the sky.

Moreover, the ELODIE spectrograph will not be available for TWO WEEKS in March (around New Moon) and TWO WEEKS in June (around New Moon) due to work to be done on the Elodie adapter. However, the Cassegrain long-slit spectrograph CARELEC will remain fully available to observers during those periods.
