23-27 August 2010 OHP Detection and dynamics of transiting exoplanets Colloquium

OHP is located in a rather isolated area, about 100km north of Marseille. Most of you will land at Marseille Marignane International Airport or arrive by train (TGV) at Aix-en-Provence TGV railway station.

You can rent a car there, but there are also bus shutles available that will transport you to Manosque (either from airport or from railway station). Manosque is 15km from OHP and an OHP driver can pick you up there: We will organize this service sunday 22th afternoon, also saturday 21st afternoon if some of you may arrive earlier.

Hotels
Most of you can be lodged inside the Observatory for the period of the Colloquium, in single or double rooms (16 single + 19 double). Please contact us before the 1st of May at ohp.sejours_AT_oamp.fr with [ohp2010 room reservation] in the subject if you want a room at OHP.

Alternatively, if you have your own car, here is a list of the hotels around, all within 15min by car from OHP.

If you don't have a car, we will organize a daily service to pick you up at your hotel, but for a limited number of hotels only.

In any case, note that the place is highly loaded in August and it is very good idea to make your reservation very soon !

Lunchs
All the participants are invited to Maison Jean Perrin where the lunchs will be served. The Maison Jean Perrin is within the domain of the observatory, about 400m from the conference room.
You will have to buy tickets at least one day in advance for the lunchs. The price is fixed to 14 euros, wine and cofee included. Please note that only cash will be accepted to buy these tickets, thank you to take this into account (there is no cash dispencer in Saint-Michel, but there are several in Forqualquier).

For those of you who have a room at OHP, dinners will also be served at Maison Jean Perrin in the evening. Again, you will have to buy tickets for these meals, at least one day in advance (13 euros for the dinner).
