SOPHIE simultaneous Thorium mode

Exposure of a star using the HR fibers in simultaneous Thorium mode, with the high-pass filter installed. In this mode, where fiber B is illuminated by the Thorium lamp through an attenuating filter which compensates for the duration of the exposure, very accurate radial velocities are obtained since the reduction software measures any drift since the last wavelength calibration exposure was taken.
